ねんどろいど

Nendoroid is the name of a famous figure series created by Good Smile Company since 2006. The specifications of this series are that the characters are super deformed into large head and small body proportion with cute appearances; the face expressions and parts can be changed, plus they can change posses; there are a lot of accessories that Nendoroid figures can hold. Since different Nendoroid figures can exchange face parts with each other, there are a lot of potential and flexibility in them. Nendoroid has 100mm height. The price range is from 3,000 yen to 8,000 yen depends on the amount of parts. Up to October 22^nd, 2015, the have already released 573 Nendoroids. The first Nendoroid (No. 000) is called “ねんどろいど ネコアルク 「換装！ブーブー顔」編”, released in February, 2006.

Nendoroid also has extended product line.

Nendoroid Petite (ねんどろいどぷち): the smaller version of Nedoroid which is around 65mm. It is articulated, but there is no extra face part. They usually make a series of characters that are from a certain anime, and put them into sealed up boxes, so buyers won’t be able to see what is inside. Sometimes, they come up with bundles of game software or magazines.

Nendoroid More (ねんどろいどもあ): Parts or accessories that can extend the possibility of decorating and displaying Nendoroid.

Nendoroid Plus (ねんどろいどプラス): Other goods that use the design of Nendoroid.

Nendoroid Co~De (ねんどろいどこ～で): A new series that is released in 2015. They are fixed Nendoroid figure with changeable hair, clothes, shoes parts.
