Figma is the name of a famous series of action ABS/PVC figures that is produced by Max Factory and sold by Good Smile Company. There are two main features for Figma. One is beauty, and one is playable. Since it is action figure, people can make interactions and anime scene reproduction. Each figure is around 13cm tall, varied by the height of the original character. The price range is from 4,000 to 7,000 yen depends on the amount of changeable face expressions and parts.
The first Figma figure is「001 長門有希 制服Ver.」that is released on February 14th, 2008. Up to October 16th, 2015, there are already 275 figures in this series. They also extend the product line.
Figma SP: usually comes as a bundle with game software, Blueray DVD, Manga, etc.
Figma EX: figma that is sold during events.
figFIX: it has the same design and scale as Figma, but fixed action. However it is sold in a cheaper price.
