Good Smile Company (GSC)

Good Smile Company is a manufacturer and distributor of hobby products such as scale figures, nendoroid, and figma. It was established by Aki Takanori on May 1^st, 2001. During the start up, GSC formed a cooperative agreement with Max Factory in order to produce products and obtain the independent ability to make figures. Later, they start focusing on planning, production, manufacture, and distribution. In February 2006, the Nendoroid series has started, which became one of the most famous figure series. In January 2008, the Figma series that is developed and produced by Max Factory has started and distributed by Good Smile Company. Another primary product line of GSC is the scale figures (completed figure) of anime, manga, game characters, especially on Hatsune Miku and Touhou Project.
